Aurum Accounting was launched out of a desire to spend more time helping business owners achieve their dreams at a grassroots level.
A solid foundation of accurate transactions, efficient processes, and automation results in accurate reporting that a business owner can rely on to help guide their decision making.
ABOUT ME:
Beginning in tax accounting way back at the turn of this century, I worked in Melbourne before moving to London for the obligatory working holiday stint.
For the 8 years prior to launching Aurum Accounting, I worked at a business advisory firm, where I fell in love with Xero.
In that time I have had diverse exposure to all the different aspects of running a business - HR, IT, Marketing, Operations and Finance. It was In trying to do all these diverse roles that I understood the struggles of business owners everywhere - I couldn’t do it all, not on time and to the best of my ability anyway. With this knowledge came the realisation that If I could specialise in just one area I could do it really well. That’s why I decided to focus on foundation accounting.
I'm naturally an organised person. The type of person who alphabetises their spice rack. I believe being organised and managing the accounting for a business goes hand in hand. The most rewarding part of my work is helping someone else achieve an outcome. I truly get joy from assisting others reach their dreams.
When I decided to follow my dream of becoming an Accountant I had no way of knowing that It would ultimately allow me to fulfil another dream - working for The Walt Disney Company.
Sometimes the small steps we take are the ones that lead us to fulfilling our dreams. Let me take care of the small steps so you can focus on fulfilling your dreams. As a fully qualified CPA It's my job to take care of the things that take you away from doing what you do best.
